a brief history of SMAN 1 Bukittinggi

SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi was born from a shard of SMA Negeri ABC Bukittinggi, located in Birugo (SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi now) in 1957. This HIGH SCHOOL was originally known as SMA Negeri 1B and in 1959 it was moved to the present location, i.e. Shaykh M Jamil Jambek No. 36 (Landbouw) in Bukittinggi. The parent House SMA Negeri 1 Bukittinggi begun in 1957 and completed in 1959, is Government assistance, remembering is the Central Bukittinggi or Central Sumatra Province's capital.
